The Arecibo Observatory is the largest single telescope in the world. It is operated by Cornell University under cooperative agreement with the National Science Foundation. The observatory's main purpose is to observe stellar objects.

The huge telescope sure looks spectacular. It has been used as a filming location for the James Bond movie 'Golden Eye' and for the movie 'Contact' among other movies.

We take you to the observatory where you get a guided tour.

This tour is combined with a visit to the Caverns of Camuy.

Prices start from $ 75. (Includes transportation, minimum of 4 people). Does not includes entrances to either place. Lunch is not included. We stop in a nearby restaurant. The cost of the entrances: to the caves: $12.00p/p; The Observatory: $4.00p/p.The prices are quoted coming out from San Juan .
